How to buy prints or images from UKGraves

The images you see here at UKGraves.Info are very much reduced in both size and quality from the original images, most of which were taken with a high quality digital single lens reflex camera, the Canon EOS 300D (also known as the Digital Rebel). As well as a high quality camera, one of Canon's finest lenses was used for most of the pictures, the EF 17-40 F/4 L, generally acknowledged to be one of Canon's finest zoom lenses. All photographs were taken in RAW mode for the ultimate in quality, and the original image size is 3076 x 2052 pixels, or 6.3 megapixels. For use on the website the images are reduced in size to 1200 pixels (or less) on the longer side and saved as JPEGs at 45% quality in order to reduce their download size, thus what you see on the site bears very little relationship to the available quality of the original image.

Since November 2005 pictures at this site are now being taken with one of Canon's latest professional digital cameras, the EOS 5D.

Following a number of enquiries, UKGraves is now selling either original JPEGs or TIFFs at full size and quality (regrettably we cannot supply the original RAW images) or high quality professionally produced prints, at various sizes.

Sample prices are as follows (all prices in UK Pounds Sterling, all sizes in inches):

  • Original uncompressed JPEG or TIFF (8 or 16 bit) image: UKP 10.00
  • Prints:
    • 10 x 8: UKP 10.00
    • 15 x 10: UKP 25.00
    • 18 x 12: UKP 40.00

Please email for prices of other sizes, up to 30 x 20.

If you are interested in purchasing prints or images please send an email to us, at the email address given at the top of the page.
